Basically we may be looking at possibly losing our rights to our art!

As artists we need to protect our own intrests as well as the rights of our fellow artists. We need to stand together and make our opinion known. We can't just sit idle while people in the government are considering selling away our rights. But what rights is an artists work, an artists invention and labor, property of anyone except the artist?

No one would benifit from this except the corporations and bussinesses would be able to reap a profit on our hard work!

Surely the government is under great pressure by the powerful lobbies of the corporations, but then all the more must we make our disatisfaction known!

So go, support your fellow artists. It's an artist's moral and civic duty. Learn about it, sign a petition, there's even a letter that's been written up already that you can send to our senators and state representitves.

We need to stop this whole "orphan works" thing from passing.

My computer's not too good for uploading my drawings right now. We own two but the one with Photoshop is getting worked on by my uncle right now.

I've been photographing my drawings with my digital camera and submitting thosse. (Which then takes an eternity for my computer to upload to DeviantART.)

Anyhow though, I still can't help but wonder if anyone'd like to do some trades or anything? O_o A fanart for a fanart, anyone interested?

I'm just curious. ^_^
