Yukimura Sanada

Yukimura Sanada.  Son of Masayuki, brother to Nobuyuki.  The Sanada served the Takeda clan and later went on to serve the Toyotomi and the Western alliance, led by Mitsunari Ishida.  Of Yukimura, the great Tokugawa clan warrior and general Tadakatsu Honda said, he was the finest soldier in all of Japan.  He was certainly loyal.  As he had to carefully escape the Sanada domain, sneak into the besieged Osaka castle to help the Toyotomi alliance, but he did so.  In the battle, the Siege of Osaka, Yukimura is said to have died from exhaustion fighting against the Tokugawa clan's soldiers.
